Donations needed for poorer schools (The Arizona Republic)

If you make a donation to a public school through the Arizona Extracurricular Tax Credit, the state will pay you back dollar for dollar up to $200 for an individual or $400 for a couple when you file your taxes. By law, these funds are used for extracurricular activities like after-school tutoring, arts, sports or enrichment programs.
