First SHS graduates reunite after 30 years (East Brunswick Sentinel)

SPOTSWOOD â€" It might surprise some borough teenagers to learn that their community didn't always have a high school. In fact, until 1976, ninth- through 12thgraders from Spotswood attended South River High School. Borough residents voted to approve construction of their own school in the early 1970s, and the first class graduated Spotswood High School in 1978.
